About the team
We are
Axiomatic is FTC team #30410, a growing crew building and open-sourcing competition robots out of a home design lab in Pasadena.
Our story
From one builder to a crew
Axiomatic started as a solo team in Pasadena, one student running every discipline: design, build, code, and outreach. It grew out of RoseBot, a 7th-grade project built to assist senior-living residents that took 3rd place at the 2025 LA County Science & Engineering Fair and sparked the jump into FTC.
With no school shop, home became the lab, the garage a machine shop and the living room a full-size FTC field. Most of the robot's parts came from a team that was closing down, cutting costs by roughly 80% and proving you don't need a big budget to build something competitive.
DECODE (2025–2026) is our first FTC season. The name Axiomatic stays constant while the roster grows and the suffix evolves season to season, the team is now expanding beyond a single builder.

What we value
How we work
First principles
We ask why before how. Every design decision should trace back to a reason we can defend.
Build to learn
Prototypes are experiments. We iterate fast and keep what the data and the field tell us works.
Open by default
We share our code, CAD, and lessons so the wider FTC community can build on our work.
